Swipe Ninja – Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 30, 2026

1) Overview

- This document explains what data the Swipe Ninja app (“App”) processes, for what purposes, and what your choices and rights are.

- The App’s core function is to analyze your Photos library locally (on-device) to help you identify and remove unnecessary content.

2) Data Controller

3) Data We Process

- Photos Library Information (On-Device): The App runs entirely on your device to read items in the iOS Photos library. For visualization, grouping and cleanup suggestions, we process metadata (creation date, resolution, media type, subtypes such as panorama/live) and structural characteristics extracted from images (sharpness/blur scores, similarity feature prints). Neither your photos nor these analysis features are sent off your device.

- In‑App Choices: Your keep/delete selections and temporary states inside groups are stored locally on your device.

- Purchase Information: Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are handled by Apple’s StoreKit. Payment data is processed by Apple. The App uses App Store receipts/transactions solely to validate your entitlement.

- Advertising Data: The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may process device and app information, approximate location, and the advertising identifier (IDFA—only if you grant tracking permission) to deliver ads and prevent fraud. AdMob’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms.

4) Purposes of Processing

- Gallery analysis and grouping: Detect similar, blurry, document/screenshot or unnecessary content to produce cleanup suggestions (all on-device).

- Purchase management: Validate and manage your premium access status.

- Advertising: Serve ads in the free version (AdMob).

5) Sharing and Disclosure

- No Server Uploads: The App does not upload your photos or analysis output to the developer’s servers.

- Service Providers: Google AdMob for ads; Apple (StoreKit) for purchases. These parties process data under their own privacy policies.

6) Device Permissions

- Photos Permission: Required to read and list your Photos library. Without permission, the App cannot access your photos.

- Tracking Permission (optional): If granted, advertising identifiers (e.g., IDFA) may be used by ad networks for ad personalization and measurement. Not granting this permission does not affect core functionality.

7) Children’s Privacy

- The App is not directed to children. We do not knowingly process personal data of users under 13.

8) International Transfers

- The developer does not transmit your data to developer‑controlled servers; therefore, we do not perform international transfers. Third‑party providers (e.g., Google AdMob) may transfer data across borders according to their own infrastructures.

9) Data Security

- Your photos and analysis data stay on your device. Because no uploads are made to our servers, breach risk is minimized. Third‑party SDKs (AdMob/StoreKit) apply their own security measures.

10) Retention

- Local App Data: Your selections and intermediate results remain on your device; uninstalling the App removes this local data.

- Purchase Records: Managed by Apple. The App only uses the information needed to validate your current entitlement.

11) Your Choices and Rights

- Manage Permissions: Control/revoke Photos and Tracking permissions in iOS Settings > Privacy.

- Delete the App: Removing the App also removes its local data from your device.

- Contact Us: For privacy requests, please email us.

12) Third‑Party Policies

- Google AdMob: https://policies.google.com/privacy

- Apple (StoreKit): https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

13) Changes

- We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date appears at the top. We will try to announce material changes via in‑app notices or release notes.
